Are you technically skilled and enjoy overall responsibility? As a preparer, you will combine structure, problem-solving, and close contact with production – from drawing to finished product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preparer, you are the link between design and production. You ensure that the documentation is complete and adapted for manufacturing, plan and optimize the manufacturing flow, and provide support for our welders, assemblers, and sheet metal workers in the workshop.

We offer a varied, developing, and fun job with responsibility for:

• Reviewing and checking drawing documentation

• Creating work instructions and parts lists

• Production planning in collaboration with the workshop manager

• Material orders

• Technical support to production

• Continuous improvement of preparation and manufacturing processes

• Cost estimation and some purchasing work

PERSONAL QUALITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role within manufacturing, preferably in sheet metal and welding or machining. Ideally, you have a post-secondary education as a Mechanical Engineer with a few years of practical work experience, preferably in design and production technology.

Furthermore, you are accustomed to reading drawings and have a good understanding of production flows. We prefer that you have good knowledge of Autocad 2D and are skilled in Excel and business systems. In the workplace, we primarily speak Swedish but have international customers throughout Europe where English is a requirement.

As a person, you are structured, solution-focused, and enjoy working in a smaller team. You are practical and meticulous and like to understand how things work and are eager to improve them. Teamwork is important to you, and you are keen to share knowledge with your colleagues.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are a small but competent company with about 15 employees working with sheet metal processing and welding. Everything happens under one roof – from design and drawing to production and delivery. We are a close-knit team where every role is important, and where collaboration and unpretentiousness are a given.
